Originally this mix of Chapagetti & Neoguri became famous from one of the TV variety show (“Camping with Dad”) but revitalized the hype with movie Parasite (with Steak in it as a upscale upgrade.. 🙂 )

11번째 생일 선물로 인형 사달라는 녀석이 주문해달라고 한 Ari – 이것도 YouTube Cartoonist의 merchandise.. (하나 또 배웠다…Jaiden Animations)
코로나 때문인지 2-3주면 온다고 하던 녀석이 결국 한달 좀 넘어서 -그것도 Spain에서- 날라왔다.. (봉투 뜯을때 잠시 긴장…)

Every year, the little one at my home has always asked something unexpected as a birthday gift. (Last year he wanted to go to ski on no school Monday, so I had to take a day off and spent whole day of skiing in mid March…)
This year, he said he wanted some weird dolls from weirdly named site of TheOdd1sOut. Not surprising but what?!!
These are the Baby James dolls I bought for him at this boy’s 11th birthday gift 🙂 – character of YouTube cartoonist.. (one more still coming – delayed due to corona..)
All in all, I learned a new thing from him again – power of content on YouTube and also came to know one thing he watches regularly at YouTube..

허접하게 돈으로 좌우되는 미국 의약 시스템, 심각한 약 문제를 정말 평범한 -한편 동시에 피해자이기도 한 – 약사 한명이 풀어 해치는 이야기.. (본인도 아들이 약사러 갔다가 살해되는 비극을 격음..)
소설같지만 이게 사실이다…Netflix에서 꼭봐야할 하나의 명작..
Another great story/documentary from Netflix. At the end, a small town pharmacist’s passion tears down huge broken medical industry-wise system and greedy businesses around it. Felt sorry about his loss and salute to his passion.
Hard to believe but this is a non-fiction…

우와 고등학교 때 같은 반했던 친구 – 아주 오랜만에 방송에 출연해서나마 얼굴을 봤다..
원래 고등학교 때부터 노래를 잘하던 친구라 모든 친구들이 예상했듯이 대학가요제 나가서 상도 받았던 친구… 고등학교 졸업 후에는 다른 친구 결혼식장에서 봤던게 마지막이었던 아련한 기억만 있고, 뭐하고 있나 항상 궁금해 했었는데 방송에 출연해서 소식을 보니 반가움 가득..
사실 본인은 기억 못하겠지만 이 친구한테는 개인적으로 참 고마운 마음의 빚이 하나 있다..
‘낙방’의 소식이 주위에 퍼지는 순간 실패자가 됬다는 좌절에 괴로운 것도 있지만, 사실 비슷한 정도로 괴로웠던 것은 주위와의 단절이었다. 대학시험 끝나고 졸업한다는 설레임(?)으로 여기저기 연락하고 시끌벅적했던 분위기가 정말 한 순간에 아무 연락도 없는 무서운 조용함 및 적막감이 흐르는 순간으로 변화되고 -물론 신경써서 피해주는 것이지만서도- 이게 한동안 지속되는 건 정말 정신적으로 힘들었던 기억이다…
근데, 이 친구가 위로차 전화주면서 자기집 비었고 다른 친구들도 몇 명 와있으니 와서 얼굴보여주고 가라고 불러줘서 몇 시간 이나마 외출도 하고 ‘정신적 충격’에서 잠시나마 벗어날 수 있는 귀한 기회를 줬었던 고마운 기억은 아직도 생생하다…
언젠가가 될지는 모르겠지만 제주도 가게 되면 한 번 꼭 찾아가봐야겠다..

One of my favorite movie series BTTF. Reopened this disc package maybe after 10 years since last time (as kids need to burn the hours..) Now I feel extremely old, and wonder what happened to my skateboard I had at youth..
인생 최고의 영화시리즈라고 생각되는 백투더 퓨처…. 근 10년간 책장에 있던걸 오랜만에 열어 감상… 참 옛날이다란 생각..ㅎㅎ 저 영화에 광분해 다들 스케이트보드 들고 다니던 쌍팔년도 어린시절이 떠올랐다..

아무래도 가톨릭 신자가 아니어서 어렵지 않을까 생각하고 너무 어려우면 꺼야지 하고 틀었다가 훅 들어가 끝까지 눈을 못떼고 봤던 영화 – Vatican City의 어마어마한 영상미와 멋진 배경음악… 그리고 두 성직자의 성직자와 인간 사이의 고민/질문이 계속되는 내용에 몰입도가 훅치고 들어오는 끝장 영화였다.. 종교의 차원을 떠나서 강추… 한편 마지막 월드컵 결승장면은 영화를 끝내며 미소를 준다..
영어/독일어/스페인어/이태리어 그리고 난 정말 뭔말이지 하나도 모르는 라틴어가 마구 섞여서 대사들이 진행되는데 감탄도.. Netflix 명작 하나더 추가…
Hesitated a bit before watching this movie, as I am not a roman catholic but absolutely one of the hidden jewel of Netflix. This movie nicely brought the questions between being human & priest with beautiful sceneries of Vatican City & music- making me wonder what is the distinction between fiction and non-fiction. Plus the details in the movie of mashing multiple languages up (English/German/Spanish and others..:)) is another fun point to watch..
If you follow football/soccer, don’t turn off this movie till you see the last scene…
