Grouse Mountain

Went to Grouse Mountain for Christmas day – few things I learned as first time visitor

Don’t have to worry about mountain driving – Cable car will bring you up to near peak of the mountain but this means a backlog on return down.
Due to the height things are totally different up at there although it is extremely close to the city – nice snow up at there
You gotta ride till the sunset at least + night ski give you the scenic view

Vancouver에서는 Cypress만 세번 갔었는데 이번엔 Grouse – 도시에서 가까운 훌륭한 스키장.. 기대이상으로 좋았던 설질과 죽이는 경치를 보고 스키를 탔다. 실력은 황이어도 주위 가까운곳에 환경이 좋아서 겨울 스포츠 호강은 계속되는구나..

Running Again – Midnight Running

그간 얼마를 쉰건지 햇수 세기도 챙피하네… 대략 5년만에 다시 뛴다.. 실은 목디스크 영향으로 어깨가 아파서 더이상 못버티겠음…first day – 4.6 mile in an hour not that bad

Back to midnight runner mode again after years of long break – cannot take the neck/shoulder pain any more.. 😦

The Man in the High Castle: Season 4 & Finale

열심히 보던 시리즈 새로운 시리즈가 나왔다고 보다가 중단할뻔…ㅎㅎ

사실 이쯤 되니 소재의 신선함도 떨어지고 재미도 반감… Portal 나오면서부터는 SF영역으로 돌입하여 병맛으로 치닫기 시작.. 그래서인지 이번 시즌은 -Release 전에 이게 마지막이라고 이미 못박아 놓고- 그간 막발려놓은 이야기 성급하게 끝낸티가 너무나서 뭔가 아쉬움이 있다. 특히, 시리즈 마지막엔 내용 전개가 너무 억지로 결론 내리는 분위기.. 이럴바엔 차라리 핵폭탄 터트려 다 끝내는게 나았을듯..ㅎㅎ

Well this was a swing and a miss – all of sudden all character’s story had to come to a conclusion in weird ways (maybe related to the announcement that they will not extend the series) at very last part of the season.

Personally, I thought this franchise has been going to “wreck” path when the portal started to show in the story.
