Drama: Tottenham vs Man City

I am betting this might be the most dramatic game of this season. Two goals in injury time..

우와… 경기 자체도 정말 멋진 경기였는데 승패를 떠나서 축구경기가 이리 아름다울수 있구나 싶었건만… 점수나는 것도 극장드라마…거의 못보는 EPL, 우연히 봤는데 대박경기를 봐버렸다…

Costa Coffee

지난달 주문한 Costa Coffee – 근 10년 전 즈음에 런던 더블린 출장갔을때 – 영국판 스타벅스네 하기도 했지만 나에게 Flat Whilte이 뭔지를 알려줘서 열심히 먹었던 코스타 커피를 핫딜로 팔길래 아무 생각없이 주문했다..ㅎㅎ

알고 보니 우여곡절 끝에 이 코스타는 미국 코카콜라 그룹에 팔렸더구만…ㅎㅎ

Good memories of Costa Coffee – taught me the Flat White 😀 – at streets of London and Dublin about 10 years ago made me order this without hesitation – Wondered why my credit card was saying Coca Cola Company and learned now this is part of Coca Cola Co.

Yesterday

One of the movie on my checklist crossed out during this pandemic – now I really realize there is no new movie at all with this pandemic and carefully forecast world might be likely this way for an year or so..

Good movie – as expected liked the songs in the one. (Although story was somewhat expected or you can see what the movie’s end will look like….if I have to pick any WOW there was one scene unexpected but won’t write it up as it becomes a spoiler… 🙂 )

새로운 영화개봉이 없는 관계로 봄직했던 영화들도 다 본거 같아서 뭐가 빠졌을까 하다가 생각난 영화 Yesterday. 어찌보면 뻔한 이야기에 뻔한 결론인거 같아 싱거울수도 있긴했지만 음악이 좋아서 별무리없이 봤다. (하지만 우와~ 이런건 없는게 아쉽다면 아쉬운점-구지 꼽는다면 한장면이 있지만 스포일러라 구지 이야기하진 않겠음..ㅎㅎ)

The Foreigner – Watched nice movie with free VUDU credit T-Mobile Tuesday. 🙂 Long story short – spoiler – Jackie Chan takes revenge to IRA terrorists after getting rejected from multiple asks for help. 🙂 Fear & don’t ignore the Asian! 🙂 haha 

가을인데 성룡영화가 땡기던 시절 개봉되었으나 타이밍을 놓쳐서 못봤던 The Foreigner. 어차피 오락영화라 이걸 나중에 돈 다주고 보기엔 좀 그래서… 암튼 T-Mobile Tuesday VUDU 공짜 영화 Credit받아 봤다..ㅎㅎㅎ

전에 수많은 풍파를 격고 London에서 조용히 지내시는 월남화교 출신인 성룡이형, IRA 딸을 폭탄 테러로 잃고 배후를 찾아보려는데 주위에서 도와주지 않으니 직접해결하러 나서신다..

감독이 007시리즈를 한 영화라 그런지 아무래도 007+성룡 영화가 됬다..ㅎㅎ

한줄 요약: 성룡이형을 화나게 하지 마라…

🙂 한편 여전히 Irish accent가 나오는 영어는 쉽지않다..OTL…ㅎㅎㅎ

FIFA 17

This story mode was very interesting approach – your character (Alex Hunter) is growing up to be a star player at EPL starting from the youth days, signed to EPL team,  and loaned to Championships + Family events & conflicts with friend….

Surprised with seeing myself smiling (on screen reflection:)) while the story evolves..

FIFA17이 이번 주말까지 1주일간 EA Access 공짜 행사의 일환으로 풀려 열심히 시작한 스토리 모드… 17버전부터 처음 생겨난 모드인데.. (아마 16까지 사람들이 캐릭터 만들어서 키우는 걸 보고 이야기를 입히자는 아이디어로 시작해 만든 모드인듯.. ) 캐릭터를 키우는 재미와 이야기를 풀어가는 재미를 같이 붙인거 같아 재미있었다..

게임 중 이야기를 보며 흐믓해하는 나를 봄..ㅋㅋㅋ (정확하게는 화면이 전환될때 나오는 검은색 화면에 반사된 웃고 있는 나를 봄…)

진즉에 보고싶었으나 보지 못했던 Kingsman을 Thanksgiving맞이 할인이 떠서 Xbox로 봤다… 총평..

  • 역시 만화가 원작이다.. 🙂
  • Colin Firth 간지 쩐다…
  • 나도 우산 가지고 다니고 싶다??!
ㅎㅎ 생각보다 좀 잔인하고 폭력적이었지만 재미삼아 보기엔 나쁘지 않았음..
(애들 앞에 몇분간 보여주다 중단했는데 계속 보여줬음 큰일날뻔했음)

Nando’s Chicken

작년 이맘 때 London-Dublin출장 갔을 때 제일 맛있게 먹은 음식 중 하나인 Nando’s Chicken – 아니나 다를까 같은 영연방이라고 BC에는 여러개가 있다. 나름 매콤한 소스가 한국 사람의 맛에도 잘 맞는듯..

좀 Search해 보니 이 체인은 포루투갈-모잠비크식 치킨요리를 남아공에서 시작했다고 하니… 결론적으로는 남아공에 있는 포루투갈-모잠비크식 치킨가게에서 시작한 요리를 런던에서 맛보고 캐나다에서 다시 찾은 미국 사는 한국 사람의 이야기.. 참 글로벌한 세상이다.
