Finally had the first camp visit as a parent on Boy Scout camping ๐ and was a good break from the normal days in life at historical Boy Scout camping site.
Luckily or unluckily, navigation after getting out of camp was suggesting us to take route to home via Olympia due to traffic accident on shortest cut ๐ so used this as an opportunity to clear off last remaining unexplored portion of US-101 in Washington
Passed thru amazing scenery of Hood canal and stopping over at Taylor Shellfish market was a bonus ๐
Mountain Pass drives continued as we turned north. (Tejon Pass, Pacheco Pass) – another lucky pass as I heard Tejon was closed due to frost for some period after we passed.
Walking to observatory at sunlight and also felt thankful to neighbors who kindly put the neighborhood’s name on the mountain (what a holly name it is…). ๐
