구름세상에서 고행하는 나한테는 정말 이건 충격적인 일이다…

이 수많은 사용자들을 service하는 서비스가 DC 하나 맛갔다고 다 죽다니…. 뭐 잠시 몇분-아니 좀더 주자….몇시간 특정 지역에 먹통 되는건 그럴 수 있다치지만… 이렇게 주먹구구식으로 운영하고 있었던 말인가? 이건 정말 쪽팔린 일일듯.. 게다가 서비스 복구에 이렇게 오래 걸리는건 정말 대비가 1도 없었음을 의미할것이고 과연 Disaster Recovery 혹은 Resiliency란 말을 알고는 있는가 싶다..

(수 많은 회사들이 이런 경우를 대비해서 일부러 다 분산 시키고 중복시키고 cloud운영사들은 심지어 멀쩡한 DC 일부러 component별로 꺼보는 test도 하는 마당인데…)

This is supposed to be the leading messenger platform + other auxiliary services in Korea with more than 50M MAU and this entire service has been down now more than 12 hours in WW with one simple fire in one of their data center.

This is ridiculous, shameful, and even shocking Micky mouse operation with a big shame…
