말그대로 파인애플 농장 투어.. 뭐 단순한데 안가긴 뭐하고 해서 잠깐 들려서 농장 한바퀴 도는 기차를 타주시고 파인애플 아이스크림 시식.. 🙂 뭐 몇가지 배운 사실들 – 한 때 전세계 파인애플의 90% 이상이 하와이에서 나왔다는 둥, 깡통에 넣기 시작하면서 폭발적인 성장을 했다는 둥…

뭐 미국 혹은 하와이의 역사와는 뗄레야 떨수 없는 관계지만 일본, 한국, 중국, 필리핀 등등의 외국인 노동력으로 시작된 플렌테이션 산업… 이제는 관광 명소가 되어 있다.. 🙂

Near west end of I-H1 – beautiful lagoons and extremely kids friendly beach

아침에 Costco와 ABC마트 등등에서 섬생활을 위해 필요한 장비들(뭐 스노쿨링 장비, 튜브, 돗자리 등등) 을 사고, 점심 먹고 freeway를 달려와서 마주친 비치.. 애들이 놀기 좋은 라군 4개가 있는데 운좋게도 5분 정도 기다려 공짜 public parking이 가능한 라군쪽에 주차를 할 수 있었다.. Disney리조트가 있는데 거긴 우리가 머물기엔 너무 거하고 어른들의 먹자 여행 취지에 맞지도 않고…ㅎㅎ

새삼 신기한건 하와이 주 깃발에 있는 union jack…역사와 관련이 있지만 union jack을 미국에서 공식적으로 쓰는 깃발로는 유일할 듯..

첫날부터 애들이 물에 뛰어들어가니 정신은 안드라메다로..ㅎㅎ

냠냠… 맛있는 칡냉면.. 예정에도 없다가 일정들이 어그러지면서 하와이에서 냉면 사먹게 되었다..ㅎㅎ 살인적인 하와이 가격만 빼면 훌륭..ㅎㅎ 언제 LA가서 한번 배터지게 먹었으면 좋겠다…

I cannot remember here but history -if it is correct- told me I was here about 37 years ago with my Mom..:) and I guess the airport must have stayed the same look and shape since then 🙂 Aloha!!

37년만에 온것으로 추정되는 호놀룰루 공항.. 37년전이나 지금이나 다름 없는 모양으로 추정된다..ㅎㅎ 알로하!
