Polar Vortex

몇 일간 특히 지난 주말 날씨가 섭씨 영하(32F)에 가깝게 춥다고 짜증내며 지냈다.. 모든 뉴스에 Polar Vortex라고 난리를 치고, 일기예보에 파다한 화씨 영하를 보니 섭씨 영하는 아무것도 아니구나라는 생각과 주어진것에 감사해야겠다는 생각이 가득든다. 못보던 단어라 찾아보니 Polar Vortex 라는 단어는 풀어쓰면 Acrtic Cyclone이라고 하는구나.. 또 하나 배웠다..

One lunch about a week ago – now I kind of know what to order & expect from this place. Still super fast & quality lunch, and it would have been super excellent if it was a dollar or 2 cheaper. 🙂

Thanks to the new building, there is a new restaurant in SLU – technically the first shop serves noodles & rice. 🙂 and super fast.

Great to see retired Concord & Air Force 1 as well as details of museum.

A great 15 min music & water show @ Seattle Center – reminded me the good memories of my son running into the fountain and totally got soaked in one summer at years ago.

Experience Music Project Museum

Due to duty of tour-guide – went to EMP museum. Maybe spent much time in looking at details for the first time ever as this is the first time going there without the kids on a quiet weekday..:)

지난 주 후배 방문 관계로, 관광 가이드 놀이를 하느라 아주 오랜만에 EMP 박물관에 다녀 왔다. 나름 볼게 많고 해볼것도 많은데, 전에 왔을 때는 주말에 애들 쫓아 다니느라 구경도 못하고 만지지도 못해본 것들 시간을 가지고 차근차근 살펴볼 기회였음…

Seattle에서 좀 Rock하시는 분들이 존경하지 마다않는 Jimmy Hendrix와 Nirvana 중심의 전시관.. 및 Sci Fi 전시관을 거쳐, 3층에 악기 만지는 코너에선 드디어 악기도 한번씩 만져보기 판도 한번 돌리고, 긁어주셨다. ㅎㅎ (역시 사람이 없을 때 가야…)
