Glacier National Park: Many Glacier

운좋게 이 동네 숙소만 하루가 가능했고, 어차피 여기가 꼭 가봐야하는 곳인데다가, 주도로인 Going To The Sun Road 선상에 없고 동쪽에서만 들어갈수 있다고 해서 잘됬다 생각하고 찾아들어갔다.. 대만족.. 허나 가는 길은 아주 개판 5분전..뭔길에 아스팔트길에 빵꾸가 많은지…ㅎㅎ 나름 피해다닌다고 시도는 했지만 몇번은 차 박살나는줄 알고 엄청 걱정..ㅎㅎ

태양으로 가는 길을 나와 밥이란 동네를 지나고.. ㅎㅎ 많이 빙하촌을 찾아갔다.. ㅎㅎㅎ Wifi도 없고 전화도 안되고 TV도 안나오는 숙소라 푹 잘 쉬었다..ㅎ

Among National Park Services’ descriptions on this area of the park, two statements caught my eyes after visiting here…:)

  • Many people consider this area the heart of the park. Massive mountains, active glaciers, sparkling lakes, hiking trails, and abundant wildlife make this a favorite of visitors and locals alike.
  • The access road into the valley is rough and potholes abound. If you are driving a vehicle with low clearance use extra caution.

Both are 1000% true. 🙂 Getting here from entrance with car was a fun ‘drift’ of escaping potholes but it was a paradise and worth of having a night at here. Felt so lucky to get the last available cabin at here… 🙂

Summer Road Trip 2019: Glacier National Park

5 days & 4 nights, 3 States, 2 time zones, and about 1300 miles of driving – all decided at the night before departure 🙂 For surely, unplanned road-trip amplifies the memories and fun.

고되긴 하지만 Roadtrip은 Roadtrip이 주는 기억과 맛이 있다.

이번 여행은 더구나 대충 3일전쯤에 휴가를 쓸수 있는게 결정되고, 아이들 개학전 마지막 주말을 끼고 어디로 갈까를 고민하다 출발하기 전날 밤에 목적지를 결정하고, 일정 짜고, 급하게 예약해서, 우격다짐으로 가서 그런지 더 무계획이 주는 맛도 추가였다.
