Lafayette Square & The White House
아름다운 날씨를 흠뻑 느끼며 백악관 주위를 지나갔다. 새삼 다시 느낀건 DC는 시내가 참 깨끗한 도시.. (씨애틀도 한 때 깨끗했으나 지금은 주사기 굴러다니는 약쟁이의 도시가 되어버렸다..)
It was, indeed, a beautiful day walking around The White House.. Reminded that DC may have the cleanest downtown streets in US.. (Downtown Seattle used to be one of those but, unfortunately, I don’t think that is the case any more….)

Peking Gourmet Inn @Falls Church, VA
One of the DC metro’s “native” food – Peking Duck at Peking Gourmet Inn. Saw articles that this is celeb’s favorite place (i.e. George Bush, John Travolta, etc…. had tons of celeb’s photo at inside of the restaurant – even saw Psy’s photo) – but meeting old friend was even better 🙂
DC 향토음식 북경오리… 🙂 오리도 오리지만 오랜만에 만난 수도권 주민 쭈가 더 반가웠다..

Funny that we visited George Washington’s Mount Vernon while we live 2 hours from Mount Vernon, Washington 🙂 Why is this place not a national park?
공항에서 나와 밥먹고 포토맥 강가의 장군님 생가를 찾아가 주차장에서 잠시 눈 붙인후 생가 및 묘지 성지순례..왜 국립공원이 아닐까?

Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport aka BWI & B-W Parkway Maryland
San Diego에서 출발한지 대략 5시간 감기약 먹은 병아리처럼 졸다가 도착한 볼티모어인지 워싱턴인지 애매한 정체성을 자랑하는 공항.. 그러고 보니 Maryland 땅 밟아본지 어여 20년하고도 몇년 더..헐…진짜 나이 많이 먹었다..ㅎ BWI공항에 내려서 BW파크웨이를 따라 DC로…
Can’t believe last time I was stepping into state of Maryland was 20+ years ago?!
