지난 Amazon Prime Day deal에 그동안 지켜보던 위닉스 공기청정기가 떠서 사놓고 박스채 뜯지도 않고 보관하고 있었다.. (뭐 사실 공기청정기는 평소에는 필요가 없는 동네이긴하니까..)
산불로 인한 smoke로 대기미세먼지가 하늘을 덮는 게 매 여름마다 반복되는구나 싶어서 샀는데 (아마 4년전쯤이 최초였는듯) 올해는 희한하게 별소식없이 지나가나 싶어서 한편 아쉽기 까지도 했었건만 (기것 청정기 사놨더니…..) 결국 그분이 오셨다.. ㅎㅎ
근데 오시면서 혼자 오면 심심하니 화씨로 90도 넘는 -물론 지난 번 Heat Wave보단 덜하지만- 또 하나의 역대급 더위와 함께 오셨다.. 그리고 아니나 다를까 올래면 가오가 있지 싶은지.. 이동네 캐스케이드 삼형제 (벤쿠버-시애틀-포틀랜드) 대략 세계 랭킹 순위군 등극시켜주시고…
암튼 공기 청정기 꺼내서 설치하는데 아주 깔끔… 아주 한국 회사제품이라 그런지 조용하고 좋다…. (주모 여기 국뽕 한사발…) 암튼 다행히 올여름엔 에어콘도 있고, 공기청정기도 있으니 이런 먼지가득한 주말 집안에서 책이나 읽으며 보내야겠다..

However, :), I am prepared at this year with Air Purifier from Winix 5500-2 (Had known this company’s product thanks to their proven performance with world-class Seoul air pollution) which I purchased from a deal during last Amazon Prime Day.. 😀
(Kept in original box till yesterday, but felt even some happiness to unbox for a good use of it… :D)

What will be the next for 2020?
On last Monday, I thought some of the neighbors are doing crazy fire pit burning but found out that was the smoke from Eastern Washington following the wind – since then no window opening although today was reasonably okay-still terrible; getting worse with sunset…
Now, the news is saying all smoke collections from California and Oregon are all of sudden turning north to march into Washington…ha 😦 I do miss rain….. to be fair I never hated Seattle/Washington rain… while I have hated the rain in Seoul though.. humid/sticky)
월요일날 저녁부터 산맥너머 반대편 동네에서 난 Wildfire로 인해 산넘어온 공기가 나빠 창문도 못열고 살았고, 심지어 -말이 이상하지만- ‘원래’ 불이 나지 않는 이 동네에서도 불이나서 동네 뉴스에서 난리였는데..
내일부턴 아예 Wildfire의 명가(?) 캘리포니아에서 모아주신 Smoke와 오레곤 Wildfire Smoke와 함께 두손잡고 홀연히 북쪽으로 방향을 틀었고, 내일 시애틀에 도착하신다고 한다…아…OTL

아무리 눈도 좋고, 얼은 경사길에서 미끄러지는 차 운전하는 스릴도 좋고, 동네가 뽀로로 마을로 바뀌는 것도 좋지만 올해는 좀 심하다.. 새로산 소잃고 외양간 고쳤다고 생각한 눈삽 개시하는 셈치자..ㅎㅎ

After finishing shoveling with not-snow-shovel for 2 hours to pave the way for the car to get out of garage, the new layer of White Shxt is coming down fiercely, and my cell phone ringed from Bellevue School District that school is cancelled tomorrow 🙂

Not an apparel…. but another part of PNW’s change of season…🙂 Interestingly company manufacturing London Fog is an American company and has nothing to do with UK/London – I wonder my dad who used to wear London Fog jacket knew this..:)
