Fence Repair

Maybe at the week of Thanksgiving – our fence gave it up to wet/rainy environment and lay flat 😦 so as a bandaid – did a quick repair. The problem was two post got rotten and twisted (because of weight of fence) so had to do some attachment to hold the bars tight and dismantled every piece and kind of reconstructed. Still looks ugly but at least it is standing 🙂

사실 우리집 뒷마당에 언덕쪽에서 내려오는 수맥이 있어서 항상 비가 오면 마지막까지 습기가 있고 나무도 하필 그 주위에 심겨져 있어 Fence post가 썩어가고 비틀어지기 최적의 환경이다 싶었는데 아니나 다를까 2개 post가 거의 기능을 상실한후 Fence자체의 무게를 견디다 못해 쓰려지셨다. 흑….

뭐 일단은 post strip을 사서 “의족”을 달아주고…펜스 한짝을 다 분해하고 비틀어 지면서 못버틴 bracket에다가 나무 조각을 덛대서 다시 조립했다. 일단은 내년 여름까지 응급처치 완료…
