La Casa De Papel aka Money Heist Season 3 Vol 1

Unfortunately, got killed by Squid Game in timing-wise but still decent series – as this is now already an old story, there were lesser ‘immersion’ However, still brilliant series to binge.

물론 오징어게임에 묻힌 감도 있고, 이제는 이미 몇번 욹어드신 사골이라 처음 때의 몰입감이 없긴 하지만 이것도 나름 훌륭한 시리즈.. 주말에 5개 애피소드 달려주셨다.

Squid Game/오징어 게임

사실 2주전 나온 첫날 1화만 보고 계속 볼지 다음에 볼지를 결정하자 했다가… 아무래도 1화를 보고 나니 좀 잔인 했지만 “이거슨 대박”이란 느낌이 몰려와서 스포일러에 괴롭함 당하느니 그냥 주욱~ 보는게 좋겠다란 생각에 하룻밤에 이것저것하며(ㅎㅎ 회사 CLV 계산 모델 만들며…) 날새고 그냥 정주행해서 다 봐버렸다.. 지금 생각해보면 그날 보길 잘했음.. 🙂

Actually I started to watch this series like 2 weeks ago when it was launched – and thought I will make a call whether to go thru every episode or not after I watch the first part. And after the first part, I thought this will be a blockbuster – hence ran thru entire series in one night while multi-tasking the CLV model for the work I was playing with- not to get spoilers on this. Which was a great decision.

Lupin

사실 전혀 못알아듣는 불어라 약간의 자막을 열심히 봐야한다는 공포감을 가지고 봤지만 치밀함으로 재미를 가져오는 맛의 시리즈… 시즌2까지 나왔다..

한편 내가 유럽을 가봤다면 더 재미있었겠다는 생각도 들긴하는데… 뭐 랜선 여행한셈치자..ㅎㅎ

완전 응답하라 1994네… 너무 더워서 전가족이 AC켜놓고 옆에 아예 슬리핑 패드를 깔고 잘예정.. ㅎ 한밤에 화씨 84도면(섭시 30도) 어쩌란 말이냐…

Blackpink: Light Up the Sky

Great documentary on Black Pink which has been one of the most global scale breakthrough k-pop production after BTS. Kind of agree on success – perfect team, and producers- but somewhat painful to watch 😦

그래도 수많은 k-pop 걸그룹중 그나마 제일 전세계적으로 성공한 블랙핑크를 조명한 다큐.. 눈물겨운 노력과 적절한 팀구성 및 Teddy-테디는 원타임때부터 최고였긴했다..ㅎㅎㅎ-를 메인 producer로 넣은 성공공식이다… 한편 이런 대형 기획 그룹을 보면서 느끼는 건 눈물겨운 경쟁과 노력 그리고 한편 모두들 같은 방식의 춤과 노래.. 결국 가수가 되는것도 자본주의구나란 서글픈 생각도 나는 동시에 정말 특이한 음색에 노래잘하는 사람이 기타메달고 짜잔하고 가수로 데뷰하는건 정말 보기힘들것 같다는 생각..

The Mandalorian

Now, finally watching Mandalorian TV series from Disney +. Star Wars + Wild West but bringing lots of unknown or originally-not-interested things behind this characters.. “This is the Way”

아무래도 이건 Marvel시리즈의 영향인듯 싶은데 – 늦었지만 이 거대한 유니버스에 하나 둘씩 파생 이야기를 만드는 것 같다.. 사실 Avengers는 너무 확장 시키는 감도 없잖아 있기는 한데 뭐 그냥 재미로 보는건데 뭘 따지냐 싶기도 하지만… 항상 철 모자 및 온몸을 철로 감싸고 날라다니는 (금속공학 전공자인가..포스코 직원의 후예인가..ㅎㅎㅎㅎ) 만달로리안 사실 original Star Wars시리즈에선 존재감이 그닥… (그냥 현상금 찾아 해메는 하이에나급..)이었는데 여기서는 자세히 이 사냥꾼의 이야기+요다족의 이야기를 이것저것 다룬다..

한편씩보는데 부담도 되지 않고 재미가 좋구만…캐릭터도 속된말로 카리스마 쩐다…ㅎㅎㅎ

A new movie at Netflix at this week – finished it up at early days… 🙂 I know going into theater is not an option any more but this is a kind of movie makes me think theater is the place you go to sit and relax to have Icee with a bucket of popcorn..

믿고 보는 조승우 – 전편에 비해 약간은 쥐어짜낸 내용이 보이지만 -아니면 여기 저기 던져놓는 떡밥 구조에 익숙해져서인가- 그래도 늦었지만 재미있게 봤다..

Surviving the Mount St. Helens Disaster

Nice documentary on Mt St. Helens from National Geographic (from Disney Plus)- how it happened and how it affected people around it.. I don’t remember anything on this but I do remember I saw the exploding mountains in TV & news as a kid…and now I live 3 hours from that mountain now.. 🙂
