The trickiest drive decision has to be made at early morning in Twin Falls, Idaho with inches of snow on the road. Shall I take I-15 to go south (with additional 2 hours) or test my luck to go straight south in snowy roads. One lucky thing was I end up following snow removal truck till Idaho-Nevada border (although had to go slow but safe enough :)) Entire drive started with snowy roads ended at sunny arrival at Las Vegas.

크리스마스 이브날 아침 Twin Falls 호텔방에서 밖을 보니 대박.. 눈이 엄청 쌓였다..흑… 이틀동안 눈을 피한 신공이 결국에는 종을 친 마당이었는데… 잠시 고민하다가 Nevada 경계와 I-80을 만나는 지역 중간즈음가면 눈이 없을거란 예보만 밎고 눈길에 사투를 시작했으나.. 🙂 운이 좋게도 Nevada경계까지는 제설차 뒤를 졸졸 쫒아가서 -속도는 약간 말아먹었지만 안전하게 갔다.. 🙂

뭐 그후론 또 운빨이 먹혀서.. 🙂 눈은 엄청 쌓여 있지만 제설은 다 된 Nevada사막을 지나오면서 (전날 폭설) 한겨울에서 시작해서 햇빛쨍쨍거리는 따땃한 길에서 긴 하루의 여행을 마쳤다.

(아쉬운건 Extraterrestrial Highway간판을 찾아갔건만 뭔사연인지 그 간판은 철거…T.T)
