오랜만에 시애틀로 마실나갈 일이 있어서 다행히 비도 그치고 해서 버스 두번에 전철 한번 타고 갔다… 여전히 Seattle 시내는 마음이 편하질 않다… 전철 타고 industrial지역인 SoDo에서 내리니 빵공장의 빵굽는 냄새와 마리 냄새가 길을 뒤엎었다…
Made a public transportation visit to Seattle with two buses and one light rail to SoSo in Seattle… where street’s smell was a mix of bread bakery and weed 🙂

아쉬….. 타이어가 빵꾸난 바람에 미친듯이 살살 운전해서 땜빵할곳에 차를 가져갔다.. 덕분에 집에 오기가 애매한 위치라… 정말 오랜만에 버스탑승…그래도 지나가는 사람들이 다 창문 내리고 손짓하면서 신호보내주고 창문내리고 말걸어주고 하니 세상이 척박하지많은 않다는 느낌…
Oh…. Flat tire at home made me a crazy drive to repair and first ever ride of public transportation since pandemic. One fun aspect of driving or crawling with flat tire is… you have an opportunity to talk to tons of good Samaritans who let others know “Your tire is flat!!”

Summer did start in Seattle – 해가 많이 길어졌다.

Labor day event blocked all street’s traffic in Seattle.
Interesting way to get home
– 210 from Lenora and 4th detoured to Belltown
– Walked out of bus after getting stuck & no move for 40 min
– Walked 15 min along 3rd Ave to Westlake Tunnel: saw endless wait of buses on 3rd Ave.
– Took 216 and got off at Rainier Freeway Station (I do want to punch the person who made the idea of removing Eastgate Freeway Flyway for eastbound buses… ) waited 10 min for any bus to come
– Took 550 and got off at South Bellevue Park & Ride & waited 10 min
– Took 241 and arrived home
Normal 40min busing commute became 100min commute from combination of 4 Bus transfer +15min walk
I love commuting to Seattle!!!!!!!! -great lesson learned – go home early on May Day or go directly to Tunnel.

하 10년만에 Washington DC를 갔다 왔다.. 근데 하루만에 갔다 왔다…-_-;
5:00 AM 기상 및 집 출발
6:00 AM 공항 checkin 하고 비행기 탑승..
6:40 AM 비행기에서 타자마자 쓰러져서 zzz 엥? 정신 차려 보니 아직도 공항…-.-; 기체 고장.. 결국 1시간 늦게 출발 (뭔 마가 꼈나…-.-; 요즘 타는것마다 왜이런지…)
9:00 AM Regan National 도착 후 겁나게 지하철로 이동.. ( 아 DC Metro.. 🙂 10년전에 이거타고 구경하러 다녔었는데… ^^)
10:00 AM DC인터뷰 전 우아하게 coffee한잔 하려된 계획 비행기 기체결함으로 날라가서 겨우 면접장 도착..
이후 3시간 인터뷰 당함… 근데 기분이 좀 그렇다.. 왜 이리 나의 진심을 의심으로 쳐다보는지…-.-;
12:30PM 인터뷰 종료.. 근.데. 여기서 옛날 회사 동료 발견!!!!! 반가워요 이완희 선생님!
밥도 못먹고 공항으로 귀환…-.-;
1:30 PM 공항 도착
2:30 PM 비행기이륙과 동시에 또 꿈나라로…-.-;
4:30PM 다시 Detroit도착…
또 일장춘몽같은 하루가 흘러갔다.. 언제즘 난 여유있는 마음으로 Detroit공항을 이용하게 될려나 궁금하다… (ㅎㅎ 그런 날이 오려나? ^^)
