Dosan Park/도산공원

Korean Independence Activist, Politician, and  Korean American Community Leader Dosan Ahn Changho Memorial Park. I have been keep thinking this memorial park’s location might not be a great and holy location for this great patriot, but at the same time, maybe he will smile at this location to see how luxurious Seoul and this area has transformed..

미국에선 도산 안창호의 업적을 기려 LA의 대형 Freeway의 인터체인지도 명명하는데 정작 도산 선생님의 본국에선 묘소를 현충원에 모시지 않는건지 모르겠다…

Tour Eiffel

사실 이것도 처음에 보고 무슨 역이름 (정확하게는 옆의 역) 이 Eiffel 탑 여행인감? 했더니… ㅎㅎ Tour가 Tower란다…ㅎㅎㅎ 영어의 관점으로 불어를 바라보는 어패 하나더 추가…ㅋㅋ

암튼 퇴근 후 앞으로 남은 날들 특히 주말의 일기예보가 비를 예보하고 있어서 짬내서 하나씩 봐야겠다 싶어서 퇴근길에 곧장 에펠탑으로 향했다…

나름 현지의 사진 찍는 걸 취미로 하는 친구의 추천을 받아 에펠탑을 정면에서 바라보는 Champ de Mar반대편 쪽에서 탑을 향해 걸어갔다 왔다.. 밤에 오지 못해 소위말하는 반짝반짝은 못봤지만 떠나지 전에 불도 들어와서 강변다리에 가서 구경도 하고 돌아왔다.

Finally world famous Eiffel Tower – now I felt confident to say I have visited Paris 🙂

As all the weather forecast for coming days are calling for rain, I decided to take a short and quick trip after the work so headed to Eiffel Tower straight from the work..

Hamlin Park

이런 보물같은 공원을 Shoreline SYSO로 주말마다 다니기 시작한지 몇년 만에 발견했다…

도시 한가운데 끝없는 숲의 정글…심지어 1800년대에 썼던 함포에 야구장 시설이 몇개인지 모르겠다…(아마 이동네 출신의 Cy Young Winner인 Blake Snell이 한번 쯤은 던지지 않았을까함…) ㅎㅎ 화살표 따라 숲을 걸었더니 한시간 반 훌쩍 다 가주셨다

How did I find this wood jungle park only after coming to Shoreline in almost every weekends for years? 🙂

Griffith Observatory

배꺼트리기의 일환으로 찾아간 대낮에 올라간 천문대.. 🙂 친절하게 성스러운 동네 이름도 산 한복판에서 보이게끔 써주신 동네다.. (아니면 옛날 종로 낙원상가위에 있던 영화관 이름 홍보를 위했던 것일까?…ㅎㅎ)

Walking to observatory at sunlight and also felt thankful to neighbors who kindly put the neighborhood’s name on the mountain (what a holly name it is…). 🙂
