벤쿠버에서 득템한 “케찹맛 감자칲”…. 약간 짠걸 빼면 맛도 비슷하고 그렇게 좋지도 혹은 나쁘지도 않았음… 참으로 가까운 이웃나라는 알다가도 모르는것인게 이웃나라인듯 싶다.. 🙂

뭐 내가 매일같이 쫓는건 아니지만 요즘들어 이 양반 기사가 나오면 재미있게 보고 있다.. 북쪽나라 수상인데.. 참 생각해보면 기막힌 정치인인것 같다…

뭐 내가 북쪽에 사는 것도 아니고 그나라 국민도 아니니 자세한 내막을 알리는 없어 잘하고 있는지 못하는지는 논외로 하고..

배경을 보면 아버지가 총리로 재임중이던 기간에 “중립구역”인 수도에서 수상의 아들로 태어났는데, 가족력도 영+불의 혼합에 공부도 동서에서 다했고.. 결론적으로는 본인도 총리가 되었는데 – 사진의 인터뷰 기사에서도 나오듯 참 기막히게 말을 잘한다.. 우연히 이 양반 연설하는 비디오를 봤는데 어쩜 저럴수가 하고 소름이 쫙…

아마 바마 아저씨 이후로 말잘하는 사람은 처음 본듯.. 말그대로 이런걸 보고 professional politician이라고 하나보다라고 생각했다..

Bellingham International Airport

Good Price Hunting landed me to visit Bellingham Airport (aka South Vancouver.. 🙂 http://www.usatoday.com/story/travel/flights/todayinthesky/2016/02/08/buffalo-bellingham-us-airports-court-canadian-fliers/79842960/ ) – a perfect Southwest model airport – small & less-crowded airport. 2 pics above shows all the airport – single floor departure and arrival. So this airport maybe the smallest airport – with only 5 gates- I have ever been to (even smaller than Long Beach airport in LA)

But, very clean and “looks like recently renovated” airport and smooth (thanks to no crowd) check-in & security process and quick boarding (there is no ramp at the gate – you just walk up) no wait during any process 🙂 Definitely worth of 2 hours drive if you have price bargain when compared to departing from Seattle.

아이들 학교 mid winter break를 맞이하여 가는 여행일정을 짜면서, 비행기 표값 아낄려고 모험하듯 예약한 벨링헴 공항 출발 – 대박 성공이다.. 비록 집에서 2시간 운전해서 가야하지만 (집에서 Seattle 공항까지는 25분) ZERO waiting on everything.. 🙂 진짜로 하나도 안기다렸다.. 발권부터 검색대 그리고 탑승까지.. 표값이 괜찮다면 시애틀에 사는 사람에겐 물론이거니와 (세상에 주차도 공항내나 외나 엄청 싸다..-_-) 벤쿠버에선 must로 고려해야하는 공항으로 강추..
