What in the world… Korean Football Association’s ridiculous saga continues.. I hate to think this way but this news is telling me to give up last hope and expectation on Korea team on this year’s worldcup…
Now literally, my company is on news everyday – all terrible looks ๐ฆ now – I feel like this is everyday how I start the work day ๐
With tons of bad and harsh news, maybe the one I found most accurate is the one from CNBC Youtube channel; maybe 80% or so of the contents are extremely accurate from my limited learning perspective.
This is tough industry to be in ๐ as everyone participating in industry as customers, partners, empoyees, owners, etc – all have different expectations and emotional ties with the product ๐
This was a stone-in-the-stomach week for me at OCI…Luckily, I was not directly impacted, but I lost some of my good friends/mentors ๐ฆ
I guess now it is extremely clear that US monetary policy makers wants to control inflations whatever it takes – Almost all companies I know has been under the kind of hiring freeze since this Summer and now some went to rounds of layoffs, while housing market is totally going South thanks to crazy interest rates ๐ฆ
There was a funny event or happening primarily in Seoul – a well-known media published that Hyundai Motor is about to close a partnership deal with Apple on electric vehicle. At the end HMC declined that fact later, and Apple declined and even insisted it will not include HMC on any further consideration of partnership, and during this time, HMC’s stock danced up and down…
Looks like another example of business’ nuances/practice/culture difference clashing… my opinion on this – this accident is kind of ‘not best but okay or can happen’ from Korean hat, while it is more serious/should never happen in US hat.. ๐
Very timely series Pandemic from Netflix. This documentary series has been a good text book for me to see the things happening in China and Korea. This series taught me almost everything on flu and fights against it by human and gave me a good perspective on what is happening now except the stupid cult people spreading the virus in Korea.
I guess now the key is when it will get weaken, if it becomes weaker with summer hit, and if and when it touches US. Reminds me how wide-spread H1N1 swine flu in 2009 went thru US (I was infected!! ๐ฆ ) and how Ebola defense worked in few years ago.
