T-Mobile’s Seattle Speed Challenge: $1,000 says the Galaxy S™ 4G is faster than your iPhone®.

Nice approach… as one of the challenger game …starting this Friday, today, till end of Sunday….

Definitely worthwhile to try, but I am curious how many iPhone users will show up and do test to try to claim the money…. iPhone users don’t care about the speed, don’t care about the rateplan, and don’t care about anything other than the fact it is a iPhone!!!
(Anyhow, this test will do validate it)

Poor and somewhat sad analogy-if this hold true-, but hope this is not the case of insisting Wal-Mart is much better than Costco to loyal people shopping at Costco…

BTW, one funny extension is this news is showing up in Korean press as well but more twisted to how great Samsung’s Galaxy S device is… (No complaints because more Korean will recognize the company I work for, but thought this is a bit crossing over the line… )

@Mercerdale Park, Mercer Island

Finally another Seattle thing going away…

… Speechless Sunday afternoon started with strange e-mail from corporate communication starting with “Important Message…”

Every company I have worked has engaged in any kind of transaction or key changes in shareholder structure…
Accenture: went IPO in 2001
PwC: Sold consulting business in 2002 to IBM
Atrica: The company I did my MBA internship, and acquired by Nokia-Siemens Networks after I finished working at there..
and finally T-Mobile…
Who wants their company either IPOed or sold? Hire me…. 🙂
Expecting fun summer times at Seattle here…(Hope this is not the last summer in Seattle!)

Another change from Starbucks..

Another interesting move by Starbucks… in terms of cup design…anyhow…
When I first arrived at Seattle, the news on Starbucks were all bad.. struggling, closing the stores, etc… and exCEO, Howard Schultz, was brought back into the Green kingdom as a savior to its business by stressing the core of their business…
and there was an interesting article from businessweek…Howard Schultz vs. Howard Schultz
His leadership style is pretty interesting…
