May Day Nightmare Commute to Eastside :)

Labor day event blocked all street’s traffic in Seattle.

Interesting way to get home

– 210 from Lenora and 4th detoured to Belltown

– Walked out of bus after getting stuck & no move for 40 min

– Walked 15 min along 3rd Ave to Westlake Tunnel: saw endless wait of buses on 3rd Ave.

– Took 216 and got off at Rainier Freeway Station (I do want to punch the person who made the idea of removing Eastgate Freeway Flyway for eastbound buses… ) waited 10 min for any bus to come

– Took 550 and got off at South Bellevue Park & Ride & waited 10 min

– Took 241 and arrived home

Normal 40min busing commute became 100min commute from combination of 4 Bus transfer +15min walk

I love commuting to Seattle!!!!!!!! -great lesson learned – go home early on May Day or go directly to Tunnel.

David Lanz

갑자기 대학시절 한 참 많이 듣던 David Lanz가 떠올라 youtube에서 신나게 들었다…테이프 늘어지게 듣던, 질풍노도의 1995년 대학 1학년 어느 가을날 들이 문득 떠올랐다… 정말 옛날이구나.. 일요일 밤에 듣는 여러 노래 중 가장 좋아했던 노래는 예전에도 좋아했던 …. 이 노래가 아닐까 싶다..

그리고 발견한점 하나는 나름 David Lanz가 Seattle출신이라 자주 오네? 기회 있음 한번 가봐야겠다.

T-Mobile LTE!

Has been noticing LTE mark showing up on my new phone about a week or two ago when the bus passes Factoria in Bellevue, and as the spot was very limited, and obviously looks like there are some handover issues between networks – wasn’t able to connect smoothly and do the real test on how LTE works on phone in running buses.

Finally, had a chance to do the quick test at QFC factoria.. it is much faster than HSPA+… and my new phone gets it well so my fingers are crossed for quick expansion/stablization of LTE network
