Disney California Adventure
One more day of Disney… didn’t know picking up the Fast Pass of Radiator Springs Racers was a good idea or not (picked up at 9:30 AM and got 6:45 PM Fast Pass) but turned out to be saving tons of hours (stand by waiting time 240 min?!!)
근데 첫번째 사진은 옛날 컨설팅시절 제안서 표지에서 본듯한 풍경이다..ㅎㅎ

Another day of getting killed in line.. started with line at parking lot to park shuttle, security check, entrance and numerous rides 🙂
Space Mountain 85 min, Bobsled 90 min, Indiana Jones 90 min, Star Tour 60 min… 🙂
기다림의 끝판왕 디즈니 도착… 12시 폐장까지 버티다 왔으니 성공?

백정의 sister brand인 아가씨 곱창집도 방문..볶아주는 밥 끝내줬다..하루 죙일 기다리기만 했는데 저녁 먹으러 식당에 오니 45분 기다리란다.. 이쯤이야..ㅋ

Universal Studios Hollywood
12월26일 크리스 마스 다음날 방문한 Universal Studio Hollywood- 운이 좋게도 공짜표를 써서 비싼 호텔에서 1박했는데 아침부터 붐비는 Park입구를 보니 장난 아니겠다 라고 생각은 했음..and 결국은 사람에 치여다님..
물론 생각만큼 부지런히 시작하지는 못했지만 그래도 아침부터 시작해서 왠만한건 다 탔고… 아예 입장하는 순간부터 대기시간 1시간을 공지한 문제의 해리포터는 2시간을 기다려 탑승…평소같으면 그냥 front of the line pass를 인단 $70주고 탔겠지만 문제는 이 가격이 25일부터는 2배…ㅎㄷㄷ 그래서 그냥 주구장창 기다리기로 했다..
점심때 되니 공원은 이미 폭발 지경… 왠만한 라이드는 1시간 대기는 기본에 밥사는 줄도 한시간즘 걸릴듯하여 줄이 제일 짧았던 심슨 도너츠 가게에서 호머심슨이 먹는 도너츠 시식..ㅎㅎㅎ
해리포터 구역은 정말 인산인해..T_T 2시간 기다린 Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey.. 애들은 스릴 없다고 불만..ㅋㅋ 흑흑 하루종일 호구된 느낌..
Going theme park right after Christmas is full of F.U.N… taught me importance of being patient and waiting in line for everything… crazy 12 hours of waiting in line for everything 🙂 Plus this waiting saved lots of moola – front of the line pass for $140 seems crazy…

Driving to Los Angeles
정적이 흐르는 크리스마스날 아침 San Ramon에 붙어 있는 Dublin이라는 도시에 있는 한국계 체인이나 중국 고객이 더 많은 Paris Baguette에서 빵을 사들고.. (당최 국가/문화의 정체성은 -다양성이라는 멋진 단어로 가리고 -어디다 둔 나라인지…ㅎㅎ) 운전을 시작하여 해질 무력 드디어 최종 목적지인 LA를 향해 출발…
이번 운전으로 미국 서부의 동맥인 I-5의 Sacramento 주위 구간과 San Diego to Mexico국경까지 부분을 제외하고 완주달성…ㅎㅎ
Had breakfast from Korean bakeries named Paris Baguette which is crowded with Chinese customers at the city named Dublin next to San Ramon.. huh?

잠깐 들린 Bay Area였지만 그래도 San Francisco는 방문.. 근데 Ghirardelli는 주위는 몇번 다녀봤건만 직접 가보긴 처음인듯…

San Jose, Googleplex, and green I-680
2016 연말 휴가의 시작을 산호세에 rent car를 픽업하러..-.-; (비행기 값이 너무 비싸..T_T) 들리면서 시작.. 정말이지 이 시기에 가족과 여행하는 건 “난 호구이니 벗겨드삼” 모드라는걸 300% 실감했다..
한편 이 동네에 겨울에 와본건 정말 오랜만인듯하고 주위가 녹색이 된 east bay의 고속도로들은 참 신기했다..
한편 경쟁사 한복판에 난입(?!)이라고 하기엔…. 뭐 어차피 안드로이드폰을 쓰니 고객이 방문했다 치자…ㅎㅎ
지인들의 대도시의 삶을 바라보며 난 참 시골쥐가 되었구나란걸 실감..
Start of 2016 year end holiday – 1st stop.. San Jose, California (to pick up rent car as my small fight back to crazy travel cost around the end of year…) Had a good coffee at closed Googleplex, and drove around “used to be always golden but turned green” freeways.
