Olympic National Park: Ruby Beach

“Washington’s Beach” reset the definition of beach for me 🙂 rock filled beach with fierce waves next to cliffs with pine trees. Finding myself liking these kind of beach reminds me I lived at here long enough 🙂 – along with my changed stance on winter rains..

처음엔 진짜 이상하고 심지어 무서워했는데 이젠 이게 멋있어 보이니 겨울비를 좋아하는 된것과 마찬가지로 이동네 오래살만큼 산듯싶기도…

Driving US-101 at Olympic Peninsula

Olympia에서 커피한잔 들고 출발하면서 (맛있다는 가게를 구지찾아갔으나 왜구지 여길 왔을까란 맛…) Kurt Cobain의 고향 Aberdeen을 지나 Olympic National Forest를 지나 바다갓가 나타나는 곳까지 지나갔다.. 이 동네 경찰들 시골마을의 수익원은 과속딱지란 생각으로 무자비하게 잡아대는 걸로 초유명… (보통 국도인데 갑자기 조그만 마을이 나오면 속도가 반으로 줄어드는곳이 많음.. ) 까딱하다간 300불 폭망인 관계로 진짜 속도 준수…

Started from Downtown Olympia with a coffee – don’t know why this shop is famous… 🙂 – and passed thru the Home of the Kurt Cobain, Aberdeen, driving thru the forest and finally got into the seashore side.

Olympia & State Capital Campus

First time being inside of Olympia, state’s capital city, after being a Washington residence from 2007.

뭐 항상 I-5 Freeway로 지나가면서 주청사 상투꼭대기만 보다가 Washington으로 이주하고 13년만에 처음으로 주청사를 가봤다.. 고로 US-101 양 끝단점을 다 가본셈이 되었다!!!!

대박 Recipe…Youtube에서 하라는 대로 했는데 (꿀도 약간 있어서 꿀과 설탕 물엿을 석긴 했음) 정말 사진찍고 먹는데 온가족이 달려들어 1분만에 순간 사라짐.. (아 비디오에 나오는 Air Fryer는 섭씨라 화씨로 바꿔야함!!)

Fantastic dessert! followed everything on Chef Paik’s Youtube video.. (make sure you convert the Celsius to Fahrenheit on air fryer..as the video is based on Celsius)

I Love Sushi – Gold To-Go Platter

이번달 초 결혼 기념일을 맞이하여 -Restaurant을 가기는 뭐하니- To Go로 소위 말하는 Flex한번 해주셨다… 오랜만에 숙성도 좀 되고 밥에 와사비도 발려있는 제대로 된 초밥 (평소 먹는건 다 생이고 밥에 와사비가 발리는 사치따윈 없다..ㅎㅎ) 한번 제대로 드셔주셨다..ㅎ

Bent my wallet for anniversary ‘Corona To-Go’ dinner for the family at early in the month – This plate made me realize good sushi is made with a bit of aging and wasabi-on-the-rice 🙂 which I came to forget with ‘regular’ sushi in streets..

Happy Shrimp Chips from Naive Happy Snack

코스트코에서 그냥 지나치려다 눈에 들어온 과자… 새우칩인데 버터와 마늘이 들어가있다.. 참 한국인의 맛인데 하고 자세히 보니 뒷면 좌측 하단부 제일 밑에 보이는 한줄 “Product of S Korea” 이거 하나 믿고 집어왔는데… 대 투.더. 박이다..

그냥 한자리에서 한봉지 다 먹을각임…ㅎㅎ 마늘버터맛 알새우칩이라고 보면 될듯…

Curious to find the shrimp chips at Costco and it is even saying Butter and Garlic.. thought this is so Korean and then actually found out this is manufactured in Korea at the bottom of the backside. So gave it a try with a little bit of trust, and this thing didn’t turned back my trust and became one of the best chips ever from Costco… 🙂

Lazy Sunday hike to Poo Poo Point using Chirico Trail – where all paragliding seems to be landing.. 🙂

Steep rocky hills but fun hike to watch people flying all around the mountain..

오랜만에 이사콰 쪽으로 산행…뭐 내가 날아다닌건 아니지만 날아다니는 사람들보며 대리만족했음 되었다고 생각..
