Marvel의 다음 스토리를 만들어가려는 노력이 느껴지는 영화였고 핸썸가이즈 빵터지는 웃음은 없지만 잔잔한 웃음을 주는 즐거운 영화였다…
The last flight of this Summer’s Boston saga…enjoyed yhe movies in the flight..
Marvel is keep-trying the stories continued and Handsome Guys was a movie making good smile, not laughter though, out of it…

이것 땜시 2주간 아드님이 Berkshire 시골에서 보내셨다. 이제 진짜 떠나기전에 마지막으로 진짜 Tanglewood와 2주간 즐거운 시간을 보낸 음악학교를 check out하고 돌아왔다.

본인의 최애 홍콩 영화인 무간도를 Boston 배경으로 remake 한 The Departed….(난 그래서 신세계도 진짜 좋아했다…드루와–)
역시나 조금 아쉽지만…(무간도의 plot을 저대 따라갈수 없다…) 그래도 종종 다시 틀어본다…(출연진도 빵빵하다..) 그 영화 마지막 장면 배경인 Massachusetts State House..금돔을 보려고 Boston Common도 들렸다….

쉽게 떠나지 못하고 결국 작은분 선풍기 사들고 다시 Lenox에 들려 drop하고 거진 full로 Mass Pike를 달려공항으로…
폭염으로 100도는 우습게 찍어대는 와중에 freeway에선 대형 사고가 나서 30분쯤 서있다가 갔다…덥고 졸리고 화장실 가고 싶고의 삼중고를 버티다 그리고 휴게소에선 나름 스타벅스의 고장에선 볼 수없는 향토 식품인 던킨 커피 한잔….
At the end, my original plan of lazy morning at Speingfield failed after getting outcrying text request from son for table fan. 🙂 so drove all the way back to Tanglewood after picking up one fan then finally drove back to Boston.
Massachusetts와 New York 주 경계 근처에 있는 Lenox에 도착했다. (여긴 Albany가 Boston보다도 가까운 동네..) 조그맣고 이쁜 도시인데 Boston Symphony에서 Summer 음악 Festival도 운영하고 BU 음대에서 운영하는 여름 캠프라고 해서 선발도 되기도 했고 좋은 경험되라고 “꼬인숲 음악학교”에 작은 분을 보냈다…
Checkin 도와주고 2주후에 보자란 hug해주고 나왔다 (허나 다음날 아침 공항가기 전에 선풍기 사 들고 다시 뛰어왔다…)

Last Min 준비물들을 사려고 Boston 외곽의 Target에 갔다가 동쪽으로 가려하니 어쩔 수 없이 시골길들을 지나게 되었다… Massachusetts도 대척 점 Washington과 비슷하게 시리 해안가(Boston, Seattle)에 대부분의 인구/도시들이 분포해 있고 내륙으로는 드문드문 마을들이 있어서… -근데 다 오래된 마을들인지 옛 New England풍의 건축물들이 즐비해 보는 즐거움이 있었다 – 그닥 지루하지는 않았다. (마치 Assassin’s Creed 미국편-아마 III였을듯-을 실제로 보는 듯한 느낌…ㅎㅎ)
Happen to drive along rural or peaceful area of Massachusetts – maybe similar to Washington, major metropolitan is on the seaside while the interior of the state is peaceful. Feels like driving along the scene of Assassin’s Creed 🙂

End of era for me as well 🙂 after 4 years of orchestra with 2 instruments in all 3 orchestra levels, Andrew finished his last concert at school.
어찌되었건 우리 큰분은 고교 4년 내내 지속한 오케스트라 활동을 잘 마쳤다.

기말 시즌 시작… 이번 학기 이 activity덕분에 그간 잘 모르던 Seattle downtown의 Convention Center주위의 길들을 바싹하게 배웠다…ㅎㅎ

영화제작의 장인정신이 뭔지를 보여주는 Tom Cruise형님… 예상했듯이 영화시작전에 친히 인사를 나눠 주신다… 한편 영화를 보면서는 아… 이 형 나이가 몇개이신데 이 시리즈에센 이제 그만 보내드리자는 생각만…

Highly recommend this last episode of MI series – sensing the movie craftmanship from Tom Cruise was also a great pleasure during the movie time. Time to send him to others – it is too dangerous to expect 60 years old grandpa to jump around at plane and dive deep in the water. Still look incredibly young though 🙂
and I love the sincerity of Tom Cruise doing the intro greeting 🙂
