Korean Cold Noodle Rhapsody & Doongji Cold Noodle /냉면랩소디 & 농심 둥지냉면

Had no idea this video/documentary was available at Netflix and end of digging the pantry and found this one. 1AM midnight cold noodle rocked.

I had my personal mystery on cold noodle in Korea started when my colleagues from SE Asia who never had any trouble of eating anything in Seoul hated this 🙂 “How the xxxx can you eat the noodle in cold?”

지난 주말 우연히 Netflix에서 발견한 냉면랩소디.. 사실 냉면하면 나는 기억은 옛날에 서울에서 프로젝트하던 시절, 같이 일하던 중국계 동남아 동료한테 -열대지역에서 살다온 친구니까 좋아하겠지 하고- 더운 서울 여름에 딱좋다고 아무리 강권해도 “국수를 어떻게 차게 먹느냐”며 극혐 했던 동료를 보고 의아해 했던 기억이 있다… 🙂

암튼 정신 없이 시청하다가 도저히 참을 수가 없을 무렵 몇주전에 우연찮게 사놓고 먹어보지도 않은 둥지 냉면이 생각나 밤1시에 끌여 먹었다.. 🙂 사실 몇주전에 생각해보니 이거 먹어본적이 없구나 하고 집어왔던 둥지냉면 – 이거원 왠 봉창두들기는 소리냐 하겠지만 겨울 야밤에 냉면도 나쁘지는 않았다 🙂

Happy New Year 2022

해마다 TV로 감상하는 Seattle New Year Celebration – 이상하게 9시에 celebration하는게 싫어서 항상 local version으로 감상해주신다.. 전전직장이 Sponsor이고 전직장의 음악이 배경음악으로 깔려 나온다. 나 여기 참 오래살았나 보다 🙂

I must have lived long enough in Seattle – realizing my exex workplace is the sponsor of the event and music from my ex workplace is played during the celebration show. 🙂

어느새 Netflix Top10을 찍어주신 또다른 한국 드리마…주말에 정주행 해주셨다..나름 빠른 속도 진행으로 지겹지 않았고, 요즘 사방에서 등에 칼꽂히는 일을 격다보니 ㅎㅎ, ‘격투는 이기는게 아니라 죽이려고 싸우는 것이다’에서 절실함이 팍팍전달해와서 몰입도도 꽤 높게 봤다

옥의 티(?)는 마지막에 구지 러브라인을 넣은게 아닐까 싶다.. 한편 무간도에 열광한 이후 이런 ‘쁘락치’ 영화 진정 재미좋다…ㅎㅎㅎ

What a great revenge action drama series it was! 🙂 Impressive actions and camera works although storyline was weird at close to the end…

La Casa De Papel aka Money Heist Season 3 Vol 1

Unfortunately, got killed by Squid Game in timing-wise but still decent series – as this is now already an old story, there were lesser ‘immersion’ However, still brilliant series to binge.

물론 오징어게임에 묻힌 감도 있고, 이제는 이미 몇번 욹어드신 사골이라 처음 때의 몰입감이 없긴 하지만 이것도 나름 훌륭한 시리즈.. 주말에 5개 애피소드 달려주셨다.

Squid Game/오징어 게임

사실 2주전 나온 첫날 1화만 보고 계속 볼지 다음에 볼지를 결정하자 했다가… 아무래도 1화를 보고 나니 좀 잔인 했지만 “이거슨 대박”이란 느낌이 몰려와서 스포일러에 괴롭함 당하느니 그냥 주욱~ 보는게 좋겠다란 생각에 하룻밤에 이것저것하며(ㅎㅎ 회사 CLV 계산 모델 만들며…) 날새고 그냥 정주행해서 다 봐버렸다.. 지금 생각해보면 그날 보길 잘했음.. 🙂

Actually I started to watch this series like 2 weeks ago when it was launched – and thought I will make a call whether to go thru every episode or not after I watch the first part. And after the first part, I thought this will be a blockbuster – hence ran thru entire series in one night while multi-tasking the CLV model for the work I was playing with- not to get spoilers on this. Which was a great decision.

Lupin

사실 전혀 못알아듣는 불어라 약간의 자막을 열심히 봐야한다는 공포감을 가지고 봤지만 치밀함으로 재미를 가져오는 맛의 시리즈… 시즌2까지 나왔다..

한편 내가 유럽을 가봤다면 더 재미있었겠다는 생각도 들긴하는데… 뭐 랜선 여행한셈치자..ㅎㅎ

Historic weather forcing us to pull camping sleeping pad near the AC for the night. Well at least tomorrow is two digits after three consecutive record breaking days… 😀 Reminds me the crazy summer of 1994 in Seoul…

완전 응답하라 1994네… 너무 더워서 전가족이 AC켜놓고 옆에 아예 슬리핑 패드를 깔고 잘예정.. ㅎ 한밤에 화씨 84도면(섭시 30도) 어쩌란 말이냐…
