Korean Independence Activist, Politician, andΒ Korean American Community Leader Dosan Ahn Changho Memorial Park.
If any American folks find this name familiar he or she must have passed one of the busiest interchange in Los Angeles – the interchange of I-110 & I-10 is named after him.
I have been thinking this memorial park’s location might not be a great and holy/respectful enough for this great patriot, but at the same time, maybe he will smile at this location to see how luxurious Seoul and this area has transformed..
I-90 West-end people driving on I-10 West-end.. Can’t believe last time I was around here was like 21 years & 3 months ago!!! –
Funny story but I do believe I remember the exact days I was here; because I was doing overbooking stand-by at LA (had to call airline’s reservation desk everyday mornings and nights) to get the seat confirmation.. [and I have been told that I was yelled a lot from office… π but it was travel agency’s fault – and not mine, and I even saved the company’s money by staying at my friend’s place…]
First family air trip since this pandemic started – and also a little comp to myself and families who weren’t able to have a summer vacation in this year.
California always rules in weather and sunshine but at the end I always realizes how the air is fresher at PNW whenever I return π Anyhow good refresh in mental health & Vitamin D (and run an extreme stress test on the stomach)
