본인의 최애 홍콩 영화인 무간도를 Boston 배경으로 remake 한 The Departed….(난 그래서 신세계도 진짜 좋아했다…드루와–)

역시나 조금 아쉽지만…(무간도의 plot을 저대 따라갈수 없다…)  그래도 종종 다시 틀어본다…(출연진도 빵빵하다..) 그 영화 마지막 장면 배경인  Massachusetts State House..금돔을 보려고 Boston Common도 들렸다….

Urban Garden at Union Street & 7th Ave in Seattle

한동안 작은분 Chamber activity때문에 자주 시간을 보낸 I-5 Union Street바로 앞에 있는 이쁜 꽃…. 이거 나름 이름도 있고 유명한 지역 미술가인 Ginny Ruffner의 설치 미술 작품이다…

Just found out this beautiful Flower at Union Street exit at I-5 in Seattle is an artistic sculpture by Ginny Ruffner 🙂

Inhome Wood Fireplace Night #2

그래 이게 Cyclone Bomb Storm이라구? 오케이 근데 PSE와  City of Bellevue는 또 부자동네만 먼저 전기 복구해준다는 생각을 지울수 없다…(소문에는 다음 storm 이 곧오니 그거 지날 때까지 복구 안한다는 설도…) 저녁되니 하루종일 x자만 보여주고 꿈쩍하지 않던 전화는 되는구나…휴..오늘도 쏟아지는 별빛 보고 자라라는 친절한 배려라 생각하고 낭만넘치게 퐈이아….

Okay instead of hiding behind some newly invented fancy term, someone from PSE & City of Bellevue please explain why we will be the last one to get power back..while we were the one of the first one lost the power….also now everybody is saying there is no recovery till next cyclone arrives…. WTF

Anyhow another moody night with income fire 🙂

Backyard Camping

Boyscout Backyard camping – luckily, the date was selected between the rain 🙂 Phew

Boyscout 활동의 일환으로 말그대로 뒤뜰 야영을 우리집 뒷마당에서 열었다. 열 몇명의 학생들이 (우리집 두분 포함) 우리집 뒤마당에서 텐트치고 1박하고 감독하느라 이런저런 신경이 쓰였는데 다행히도 Scout들이 모두 텐트에 들어간 이후 늦은 밤에 소나기 몇 번 뿌리는 정도로 비가 와서 큰 불편 없이 마무우리… (그날 이후로 3일 주구장창 비오다 오늘 개임…)

Walking on Sammamish River Trail

아주 간만에 교회에서 한 시간의 여유가 생겨 Sammamish River Trail을 걸었다… 전날 가을비도 척척하게 와 스스로 낭만 만땅으로 시애틀의 가을을 여유롭게 걷는다 싶어 이런저런 생각을 하며 커피 한잔 들고 허세 똥폼 잡으며 걷는데… 결국 반쯤가서 돌아오는 순간부터 비가 엄청 내려 주셔서 낭만은 개뿔…비쫄딱 맞은 생쥐 쭈굴이가 되어왔다…

이제 나이가 곧 반백인데 여전히 주책이다….ㅋㅋ

Plan of enjoying of a fine Sunday walk on Sammamish River Trail with some pretentious mood (plus coffee 🙂 ) on wet but dry, fresh but gray autumn day turned out getting totally wet ruined with shower 🙂

Growing up is never easy even at soon-to-be a young 50s 🙂

Tent Wash/Cleaning

근 10년넘게 수고한 우리 REI Kingdom6텐트…. 오랜만에 지난번 캠핑에 열어보니 짜잘한 쓰레기와 곰팡이에 신음하고 있었다…T_T

(이놈의 자쉭들….뒷정리를….)

결국 일단 캠핑시엔 환기하고 간단한 청소로 응급처치했다가 결국 집에 와서 제대로 빨아주셨다… 텐트가 얇은 방수재로 만든 관계로 그냥 세탁기에는 못하고 wax처리된 세제를 집 욕조에 풀고 바지 걷고 열심히 밟아준후 다시 한번 냄새 제거제로 온몸세탁하며 청소 완료… 문제는 결국 이걸 완벽하게 말리는것..

결국 집뒷마당과 실내 마루에서 몇일을 말려 그래도 냄새 안나고 쓸만하게끔 돌려놨다…T_T

I realized time for for Tent wash has arrived – after 10+ years of services – during last camping – our poor tent got soiled and dirty; plus it was not properly dried before getting packed after last use causing molds and its murky smells

After emergency treatment during last camping, I finally washed with wax based shampoo and odor removal with my bare feet in our bath tub 🙂

After dry out which was tricky due to tent not being single layer nor straight – had to rely on 2 days of sonlights plus one night of in door to finally make it dried up 🙂

Now I believe this is re-usable.. 🙂
