Good find at Amazon – I guess I am drinking Brazil raised coffee with Italian roasting from New York so perfectly reflecting the time zone & ways I work ๐
Now literally, my company is on news everyday – all terrible looks ๐ฆ now – I feel like this is everyday how I start the work day ๐
With tons of bad and harsh news, maybe the one I found most accurate is the one from CNBC Youtube channel; maybe 80% or so of the contents are extremely accurate from my limited learning perspective.
This is tough industry to be in ๐ as everyone participating in industry as customers, partners, empoyees, owners, etc – all have different expectations and emotional ties with the product ๐
Today (7/20) at Seatac; super busy – unlucky travelers who just happen to book United, Delta, American and other LCCs are impacted the most and waiting for ridiculous long waiting line for rebooking their flights. (Plus they are killing all airline’s ground staffs)
This is just ridiculous – Watching this just boiled my blood whether Crowdstrike knows anything about deployment and claim they are cybersecurity experts?
One more small in scale but historically meaningful landmark of St Louis (and its meaning as “West” in US history) & national park got checked along with Mississippi river. Now, I also paid back my son who taught me what 1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi, 3 Mississippi.. meant decade ago by showing him the actual river…
For me this Arch has always been the landmark I saw whenever I had a chance to watch Cardinals games in TV ๐ and I also remember this landmark from some of my old consulting days as this Arch’s picture was used as a background pictures of PowerPoint templates…:)
Despite having endless adrenalines in world of Cloud – I called burning the “burn out”s with interesting challenges, I happen to encounter this once in a lifetime opportunity to work for Automotive industry which closely fits my love for exploration with road trips – I have always believed “I drive crazy long therefore I am” especially during any holidays or break times ๐ & Also it connects with my emotional tie with Ann Arbor – All in all it was a hard decision but I just decided to take a leap of faith…
Last monitoring before closing the Oracle laptop – this was one simple line I watched for 2 years and 8 months from day1 -days and nights 24×7- that one line has lots of my sweats, tears, bloods, and endless thoughts … and I found I am talking to myself.. “Maybe still less than ideal/perfect but this was a hack of a job – kind of well done..” – peace out /mic drop after 2 years and 8 months of “somewhat thank-less” job ๐
So go with the flow and enjoy every single moment.
I actually did love working for Oracle and Cloud – full of various challenges, adrenalines, and all variations of emotions and feelings are always put into the works- but this journey has come to an end with unexpected things
Big thanks to OCI who gave me this valuable experience…and moving on…
