Mid winter trip to sunny Southern California from rainy and chill Seattle. I was really touched when Alaska gave me a piece of dark chocolate as an appreciation of me being a Gold member (Despite I was hiding in the back of Economy…:) )
Travel to California always bring series of mood changes from weather – first, get excited and envying, then gets into jealous minds, but those moods always disappear immediately after the first step outside of Seatac airport. ๐ I love the moist and crisp air in Seattle! ๐
First family air trip since this pandemic started – and also a little comp to myself and families who weren’t able to have a summer vacation in this year.
California always rules in weather and sunshine but at the end I always realizes how the air is fresher at PNW whenever I return ๐ Anyhow good refresh in mental health & Vitamin D (and run an extreme stress test on the stomach)
Thought the Eskimo Smile would be bringing me down but found out it was Red Sir Richard Branson ๐
At the end this happen to be the first time of flying in Virgin America almost after 10 years since last time – believe I took Virgin once when it launched in Seattle, and also believe this might be highly likely the last red flight I might take as they are about to be rebranded as Alaska.. ๐ Gonna miss the great entertainment system, fun & hipster safety video performance, and purple/blue neon lights in cabin.
AS463 Los Angeles to Seattle: Another Eskimo ride to come home with beautiful sunset by leaving sunny Los Angeles behind. (plus sky view of San Francisco Bay Area)
