맛남의 광장에 나와서 장안의 화제 다시마 2개 한정판 오뚜기 오동통면…한국에서 물건너 와주셨다… 사실 항상 다시마가 뭐 그리 대단할까 싶기도 했지만, 미국에서 너구리를 먹어보면 확실히 알게 된다.. (미주판 너구리엔 무슨 사연인지 다시마가 없음 – 그래서 너구리를 한국산을 구지 배송받아 먹는 사람들도 있음..ㅎㅎㅎ)

암튼 다시마의 소중함을 알기에 이거 방송에 나온거 보고 막연히 먹어보고 싶단 생각을 기대없이 했었는데 지인께서 한국에서 공수해주신 덕분에 냠냠…ㅎㅎ

아~ 깊은맛… 오랜만에 엄청 맛있는 라면되셨다..ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ

This one was a sensational one – double kelp thick noodle ramen: limited edition- introduced as a way to help the overproduction situation of kelp farms on a Korean TV food show. I just watched that clip and thought it would taste great but end up having this as real – thanks to good friend sent this over to me 🙂

Tasted INCREDIBLE! 🙂

오랜만에 드셔주신 꼬꼬면…. 사실 이 라면은 좋은데 청양고추맛을 조금만 더 개선(쓴맛이 살짝 느껴짐)하면 좋겠다는 생각을 다시 했다…

Once sensational in past, but happen to retry after long period. Thought it will be even better if they can crack the detailed taste of spicy green pepper

신기해보여서 사서 먹어본 라면… 음..말그래도 김치 라면인데… 뭐 그리 강하지도 않아서 밍밍한감도 있지만 한편 깔끔도 하다… (한편 제대로 김치라면 맛을 먹으려면 김치를 넣어야…)

수출모델인지 4개국어가 써져있다…ㅎㅎㅎ

Good soft-tasted ramen.. although it says Kimchi Ramen doesn’t have a strong taste of Kimchi at all. (or is this too mild?)

헐 이거 초대박… 살 때 마지막 남은거 하나 집어왔는데 아주 실하게 구성되어 있다.. 사실 라면은 아니고 생면인데… 물넣고 면삶고… 소스를 데워서 부어 먹는 방식…

이런 2인분용 봉지에 파는 냉장 생면 짬뽕 시리즈중 최강의 맛인듯 싶다.. (국물이 아까워 밥도 말아드심…ㅎ) 초강추…이제 마트에서 이거 보이면 무조건 사와야겠다..

Maybe the best near ready made Jjamppong ever I had..so technically not a traditional dried/fried instant noodle – you have to boil the noodle and heat up the source and pour the source at the noodle.. but taste great!

Nongshim Gamjatang Myun/농심 감자탕면

Well this one turned out to be a swing and a miss.. although good idea and looks good for trying to make “Potato Soup” in context of noodle – end up not tasting much like that though..

(BTW this is still one of the great mystery how this pork bone soup with potato got the name of potato soup- in context of instant noodle.)

Anyhow this attempt failed to convey the taste of “pork bone” (aka tonkotsu) nor failed to make the noodle taste good…

이름이 신기해 사본 감자탕면… 감자탕을 라면으로??? 허나 대실패인듯.. 색만 비슷하지 감자탕도 라면도 아닌 어정쩡이 되어버렸다.. 감자탕의 뼈맛도 없고, 결국 라면의 식감 및 풍미도 살리지 못한 아쉬움이 가득이다..

Jjapaguri with Steak/짜파구리+Steak

Originally this mix of Chapagetti & Neoguri became famous from one of the TV variety show (“Camping with Dad”) but revitalized the hype with movie Parasite (with Steak in it as a upscale upgrade.. 🙂 )

또다른 면식 기행.. 그리고 아직 보지도 않은 기생충 🙂 덕에 “아빠어디가” 이후에 재조명된 짜파구리를 오랜만에 드셨다. 때마침 일부 있던 Steak도 첨가.. (이로써 또 4인가족 한끼 해결..ㅎㅎㅎ)

Pulmuone Spicy Beef Flavored Ramen Noodle Soup/풀무원 생면식감 육개장칼국수

칼국수가 먹고 싶던 와중에 먹은 풀무원 육개장 칼국수 –

풀무원은 이제 라면의 면식감은 명불허전급… 약간 아쉬운건 훌륭한 면발과 훌륭한 후레이크가 진한 육개장 국물에 묻혀부린 감이 없잖아 있어 아쉽웠다..

Another nice noodle from Pulmuone (maybe Pulmuone has the best quality for the noodle now..) Still decent one but maybe broth was a bit strong though.

풀무원 생면식감 순한맛 라면/Pulmeone Air Dried Mild Ramen

H마트에서 싸게 팔아서 한 봉다리 사와본 라면.. 이거 물건이네… 면은 아주 쫄깃해주시고 맵지 않아 대박이네… (물론 유효기간이 한달 남은 라면이라 할인한듯..ㅎㅎ)

Another wow ramen.. ‘Air dried’ seem to be resulting in very nicely textured chewy noodle. (and also not too spicy nor strong in taste..)

Ottogi Jinjja Jjolmyeon / 오뚜기 진짜쫄면

Translated as Real Jjol (chewy) noodle – Then, does this mean there are lots of false chewy noodles? Tasted good (a bit spicy) but great kudos in realizing the chewy noodle with instant noodle form.

가짜가 많았던걸까… 구지 진짜 쫄면이라고 이름을 지었을꼬? 면빨은 정말 쫄면처럼 쫄깃하다.. 좀 매운게 아쉽지만 라면면빨 과학의 진일보를 보여준듯…ㅎㅎ

뭐니뭐니해도 쫄면을 처음 먹던 방식이 떡뽁이 집에서 떡뽁이 국물에 떡, 어묵과 섞에서 조리/서빙하는 형태로 맛을 본지라.. 그맛(+아마도 MSG 팍팍)을 맛본지는 한참 된거 같다..

Expedition to new Korean instant noodle.. Ottogi Stir-Fried Jin Jjambbong. Spicy hot but disappointed..

새로운 라면 탐방.. 오뚜기 볶음 진짬뽕 – 불맛을 내려 시도한건 좋은데 억지로 만드려한 불맛이 다른 맛을 다 죽은것 같은 느낌이라 아쉽다..

아무래도 매운맛으로 승부걸려는 볶음면은 내 구미랑은 다른듯하다.. 누가 먹어도 맛있는 볶음면은 나오기 힘든건가란 생각과 서울에서 전성기 시절 현경에서 먹던 눈물나게 맛지던 짬뽕이 그립다… ㅎㅎ

유효기간 하루전에 끝내주심..ㅎㅎㅎ (그래서 마트에서 싸게 팔았는듯..ㅎㅎ)
