After the fireworks, rushed to airport and fell into deep sleep in the redeye airplane and found myself back to continental… plus sizable weights 🙂

와이키키에서 멀지 않은 거리에 있는 구멍가게 같은 곳에서 파는 포키-야채없는 참치 회덮밥-… 주차가 좀 골치였으나, 저렴하고 괜찮았음..

“빵”의 어원인 포루투갈 이민 후손(사실 하와이의 이민 혹은 multi cultural 역사는 한국인 이민사와 마찬가지로 사탕수수 & 파인애플 농장 plantation에 들어가는 노동력 수급을 위해 시작되었고 일본, 중국, 한국, 포루투갈, 멕시코 등등에서 왔다고 함..)들이 운영을 시작했다고 하는 가게라 그런지 맛이 아주 왕친숙..

일행 분들이 그냥 가야한다고 해서 따라갔다가 빵이 Pao에서 왔으니 그맛이 어떤식으로든 날려나 하고 아무런 사전지식 없이 먹었는데.. 우와~ 마치 따뜻한 설탕 가득한 꽈배기에 크림 넣은 듯… 맛있게 꿀꺽….
