Well thanks to EA Access being available free till 6/18 – finished FIFA 17 story mode 🙂
This story mode was very interesting approach – your character (Alex Hunter) is growing up to be a star player at EPL starting from the youth days, signed to EPL team, and loaned to Championships + Family events & conflicts with friend….
Surprised with seeing myself smiling (on screen reflection:)) while the story evolves..
FIFA17이 이번 주말까지 1주일간 EA Access 공짜 행사의 일환으로 풀려 열심히 시작한 스토리 모드… 17버전부터 처음 생겨난 모드인데.. (아마 16까지 사람들이 캐릭터 만들어서 키우는 걸 보고 이야기를 입히자는 아이디어로 시작해 만든 모드인듯.. ) 캐릭터를 키우는 재미와 이야기를 풀어가는 재미를 같이 붙인거 같아 재미있었다..
게임 중 이야기를 보며 흐믓해하는 나를 봄..ㅋㅋㅋ (정확하게는 화면이 전환될때 나오는 검은색 화면에 반사된 웃고 있는 나를 봄…)

Wow PES!! To be honest I was not familiar with this name, but recently learned this is Winning Eleven.. Glad to play back Winning 11 after decades later.. (Maybe I played this on PlayStation 1)
Well, FIFA made great improvements but there is still something – hard to say exactly what it is – this soccer game uniquely delivers..
오래전 기억에 묻혀있던 위닝 11을 재발견했다.. 뭐 원체 오래되어서 머리속에서 지워지기도 했지만 (EA의 FIFA 시리즈가 좋아진 것도 있겠지만…) 예전에 열광하던 기억으로 해보니 옛추억들이 망울망울 떠오른다.. 그리고 FIFA에서 잘 못느끼고 살던 뭔가가 있다..
아쉬운건 FIFA가 FIFA라이센싱을 사버리는 바람에 몇개 국가 대표 팀을 제외하곤 이상한 유니폼에 이상한 이름들의 선수가 나온다는 점이 좀 아쉽..ㅎㅎ
90년대 후반 당시 풀스방에서 소리지르며 같이 게임하던 선배형은 지금 뭐하고 계실꼬?

First Sounders & MLS game after living in this town for 9 years & obviously first visit to CenturyLink Field as well… (Cannot afford the crazy NFL ticket price!!) but was a great fun experience…

Soccer Capital of US 라고 자부하는 Seattle Sounders FC 경기를 관람하러 센트리링크 필드 방문… 사실 Seahawks를 보러온다면 좋겠지만 살인적인 표가격에 못오던 곳을 축구표도 2장 구하고 해서 아싸리 2장 더 사서 가족 동원해서 와주셨다…

HD Antenna from Amazon & English Premier League
So after moving to new home, we ditched the old “fishbone” type ugly looking antenna – it was half broken anyhow – and tried the new Amazon one… and it works great!!
It helped me watch one EPL game as well – what a great game it was!
허나 아쉽게도 Seattle시내에서는 잡힌다는 한국방송은 안나온다..ㅎㅎ

2014 FIFA World Cup – Time Zone
This has been one of the best commercials related to worldcup I have seen so far.
Most of the games seems to be happening around or after noon in US Pacific Time zone so the challenge for me is to find a good spot to watch live where there is no TV in office. 😦

명동 길거리… 한국이 아닌것 같다. 뻥좀 붙이면 점심시간 끝나고 회사원들 다 사무실로 복귀하니 길에 있는 10명중 6명은 중국사람인듯하고 2명은 일본사람인듯…
Worldcup Jersey를 보니 을지로에서 프로젝트하다 시청에 걸어가서 사람에 밟혀 사무실로 들어온 기억도 나는구나…충무김밥집은 그대로 있네…ㅎㅎ
명동을 걷다가 그 유명한 공차를 만났다.. 뭐 사실 미국에서도 종종 먹는거지만.. 게다가 좀 비싸지만 관광객모드인데 하고 한잔 시음..
