생각해보니 꼬맹이군 족보에도 없는 예술캠프를 보냈네 싶다가도 고등학교 가기전에 좋은 선물 하나 해준셈 치자 했다….

I-94 Michigan Welcome Center Rest Area –

잠깐 벤치에 앉아 쉬었다… 많은 기억과 느낌들이 교차하고 많은 사람들의 얼굴들이 떠올랐다…예전에 Youtube를 보다가 김병현선수가 Arizona의 Chase Field에서 한없이 꺼이꺼이 우는 걸보며 짠했는데 그 기분의 1% 쯤 느끼지 않았을까 싶다…

벤치에 앉아 커피한잔 하며 주위를 돌아보는데 나만 긴팔을 입고 있어 그런건지 유색인종이라 그런건지 다 쳐다본다… 🙂 역시 Midwest의 대도시 밖으로 나온거구나 싶었다..

Driving thru Chicago

공항 밖을 나오니 Midwest의 습윤한 공기가 airconditioning의 중요성을 다시 깨우쳐 주며 10년만에 운전하는 Chicago Downtown 조심조심운전하며 Michigan으로 향했다..

옛날에 아주 옛날 Seattle에 사시던 분 만나서 Bellevue Kirkland Bothel등등의 지명과 freeway가 어떤지 이야기했는데 그분들의 물개박수가 잘 이해가 안되었건만 이 동네 지명들을 보고 freeway간판들을 보니 나도 물개박수 치면서 운전하고 있었다가 I-94를 보는 순간 찌릿한 감흥..

Sceneries and freeways also brought me back to the memory lane 🙂

a great day for all Michigan Football! 🙂 This sort of relaxing & exciting game has been a while… If you cannot be No/1 – just focus on beating the rivalries and “sprinkle the pepper flours to their party” 🙂

아주 오랜만에 즐겁게 본 Michigan Football..어차피 1등 못할거면 main rivalry한테 고추가루나 뿌리는게 제일 신난다..
