Called the store and found out they are closing at 2PM today – so hurried up for a 40 min round trip walk..

Snow Walking
산책 겸 85C에 걸어가서 빵사오려고 나갔다가 도착하니 예정에 없던 조기 마감 -아쒸 4:05에 도착했는데 4시에 닫았다고 문에 써놓음… 눈밭길에서 왕복 40분 산책만 잘하고 왔다.. 이왕 똥개 훈련한번한거 빵은 더 먹고싶어져서 내일 아침에 다시 뛰어갈까 고민중…ㅎㅎ
Had a nice walk over the snow on real first lowland snow of the season – although failed to buy some snacks from 85C – they closed today at 4PM while I arrived at there at 4:05 after 20 min of one way walk 😦

Seattle Winter Storm 2020
Stuck at home for 2 consecutive days
This used to be always once in every other 2-3 year thing but now it is becoming more like an annual thing.
Also, I totally lost any hope on City of Bellevue – Bellevue City officials hardly clear the snows if it is not at Downtown. I would like to invite them to our neighborhood and define “passable” as they claim every primary neighborhood streets are. Maybe need to petition for separated city for South Bellevue like South Bellevue, Factoria, or Newport Hills?
Maybe one positive note is that I fully utilized last winter’s snow shovel purchase which arrived after the peak of snow storm

same as Barn Mending After Horse Is Stolen.. or fixing the barn after losing the cow in Korean.. well at least, at last night, I cleaned up the snow on my deck with this new one..
소잃고 외양간 고쳤다… 외양간 고친게 억울해서 야밤에 삽들고 뒷마당 데크에 쌓여있던 눈을 치우기는 했는데.. 한편 소가 다시한번 탈출 시도를 하면 좋겠다는 생각도 드네..? 🙂

2019 Seattle Snowpocalypse 2.0
Big lesson learned after 2nd winter snow storm in one week: Never say “This winter has been warm with less rains and no snow” 🙂 Usual 15-20 min drive back to home became 4 hour scramble with ad-hoc detouring, endless wait, and 1st gear uphill driving..
이번주 시작을 깜짝 눈폭탄으로 했는데 주의 마지막도 눈폭탄으로 오는 구나.. 다시는 겨울이 비도 덜오고 따뜻하고 좋네 머시네 이야기 하지 말아야겠다.. 🙂
평소에 15-20분 걸리는 퇴근길… 시애틀 일대는 언덕과 경사길이 많은 곳이긴 하지만, 1년에 한번 정도 내리는 동네라 (어떤 겨울은 아예 눈이 없는 경우도..) 시에서는 사실상 주요간선 도로만 제설한다고 보면 되는데… 차가 지나갈 수 있는 길 찾아 빙글빙글 돌아 가고, 온동네 사람들 다 들어갈려고 기다리느라 밀리는 길 기다리고, 언덕길에 기도하는 심정으로 1단기어에 핸들 꽉쥐고 올라왔다.
다들 차를 언덕 밑에 버리고들 걸어 올라가는 와중에 4시간의 사투끝에 무사히 돌아온 집.. (고맙다 내 소둥이… 정말 네가 고생이 많다…흑) 사투를 끝내고 안도+홀가분으로 찍은 사진은 과정은 다 생략하고 멋진 눈꽃마을 같은 경치만 보여준다.. 🙂

울면서 운전해간길.. 보드로 전향한지 15년만에 스키를 다시 탔다.. 🙂 추울까봐 엄청 걱정했건만 아주 잘 탔다.. 스키타니 리프트 타고 내릴때 편하고 좋구만..ㅎㅎ

First time on the slope in Alpental.. and, yes, I really did roll (front & back, once each) by not being familiar with snowboarding on powder & passing thru mogul-like slopes..
