서울에서 공수되어 오신 신기한 불닭면… 소주맛나나 싶었으나 그냥 귀여운 두꺼비 하나 그려준걸로 치기로함..ㅎㅎ (한편 소주를 땅기거나 하지도 않는다..ㅎㅎㅎ)
뭐 사실 불닭면을 그닥 좋아하진 않지만 김치맛은 약간 아삭하고 부드러운느낌이 있었다..
Crazy Spicy ramen now it comes with Kimchi taste with also brand partnership .. – this doesn’t taste like soju.. 🙂 but simply have the cute toad logo…

Not a surprise that this is a critical news in Hawaii, but I came to this news after wondering why I couldn’t find SPAM at Costco and Walmart in last few visits. Found reasonable package at Amazon and ordered thru it..
At the end – this is all because of stupxx pandemic (now I hate this more and more….this had enough of us..) and Amazon continues to be the winner 🙂

Has been a while so did another round of Covid19 Family Meal deal hunting – 16 boneless wings and 6 crispy tenders with up to 4 flavors, large fries, and 3 dips. (Feeds 3-4) at $19.99 – Good deal although it is boneless wings or tender only tough.. (so had to add one bonein set with additional ~$5)
오랜만에 시도한 코로나 Family Meal 딜 헌팅 – 이번엔 윙스탑에서 헌팅 성공.. 뭐 20불에 16개에 프라이 까지 주니 거기다 필요한거 한두개 첨부하면 괜찮은 딜인듯하다..

Olympia에서 커피한잔 들고 출발하면서 (맛있다는 가게를 구지찾아갔으나 왜구지 여길 왔을까란 맛…) Kurt Cobain의 고향 Aberdeen을 지나 Olympic National Forest를 지나 바다갓가 나타나는 곳까지 지나갔다.. 이 동네 경찰들 시골마을의 수익원은 과속딱지란 생각으로 무자비하게 잡아대는 걸로 초유명… (보통 국도인데 갑자기 조그만 마을이 나오면 속도가 반으로 줄어드는곳이 많음.. ) 까딱하다간 300불 폭망인 관계로 진짜 속도 준수…
Started from Downtown Olympia with a coffee – don’t know why this shop is famous… 🙂 – and passed thru the Home of the Kurt Cobain, Aberdeen, driving thru the forest and finally got into the seashore side.

대박 Recipe…Youtube에서 하라는 대로 했는데 (꿀도 약간 있어서 꿀과 설탕 물엿을 석긴 했음) 정말 사진찍고 먹는데 온가족이 달려들어 1분만에 순간 사라짐.. (아 비디오에 나오는 Air Fryer는 섭씨라 화씨로 바꿔야함!!)
Fantastic dessert! followed everything on Chef Paik’s Youtube video.. (make sure you convert the Celsius to Fahrenheit on air fryer..as the video is based on Celsius)

코스트코에서 그냥 지나치려다 눈에 들어온 과자… 새우칩인데 버터와 마늘이 들어가있다.. 참 한국인의 맛인데 하고 자세히 보니 뒷면 좌측 하단부 제일 밑에 보이는 한줄 “Product of S Korea” 이거 하나 믿고 집어왔는데… 대 투.더. 박이다..
그냥 한자리에서 한봉지 다 먹을각임…ㅎㅎ 마늘버터맛 알새우칩이라고 보면 될듯…
Curious to find the shrimp chips at Costco and it is even saying Butter and Garlic.. thought this is so Korean and then actually found out this is manufactured in Korea at the bottom of the backside. So gave it a try with a little bit of trust, and this thing didn’t turned back my trust and became one of the best chips ever from Costco… 🙂

1997년 뜨거운 여름 Iowa 시골마을 학교 기숙사 자판기에서 뽑아 맛있게 마셨던 Surge.. 2005년 미국에 다시와서 애타게 찾았건만 단종되었단 슬픈 이야기를 듣고 잊고 있다가…
이걸 되살리려는 Surge Movement (코카콜라에 청원보내기) 등등이 있었다는것도 알게 되었고.. 각고의 투쟁끝에 결국 5년 전 부터즘인가 아마존에서 주문할수 있게 되었다는것만 알고 한동안 다시 잊었다가 얼마전 갑자기 기억이 나서 결국 주문…
하필 폭염 주의보가 떨어진 이번 주말 딱 어울리는 타이밍에 도착 – 대충 이제는 맛도 기억이 안나는 12년만에 맛본셈…ㅎㅎㅎ 그래도 머리속에 기억하고 있던 “Mountain View보다는 약간 덜 달은 시큼함이 강한 음료”는 여전한듯 싶다.
So pumped to taste this back! 🙂 This was one thing I have looked around to get the taste again since 2005 as I have an emotional tie of this with “Lonely dorm life in hot (in Summer) and cold (in Winter) days at Ames, Iowa from 1997 to 1998”
Anyhow, this soda was reintroduced after some hardcore fan’s movement aka “Surge Movement” and Coca Cola made it available from Amazon about 5 years ago…and finally.. I made a bold order recently and this just arrived at the day Red flag/Heat advisory went effective.
Still refreshing! (and my brain memory of ‘more citrus and less sugar than Mt. Dew” seems about right 🙂

지난주 날이 덥던 날, 집에서 ‘냉면 하나 먹으면 좋겠다’란 생각에 가게에 전화를 넣어서 냉면 To Go 가능한지 확인하고 사온 냉면…ㅎㅎ 픽업후 냉기 유지를 위해 미친듯이 달려집에와 먹었다..ㅎㅎㅎ 이넘의 바이러스때문에 정말 다양한 메뉴를 주문해 먹는다..
Surprised to learn even cold noodle is available for To-Go order at Blue Ginger.. 🙂
